In anticipation of the new Muppets movie, I created a series of vintage concert posters for each member of Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. (You can read the original post here.)
The bold and simple style was inspired by the 1970’s. The date on the posters is the original air date of the Muppet Show pilot.
When word of them spread around the Internet (Buzzfeed, DWL, Quipsologies, FFFFound and more) they caught the eyes of Acme Archives, official licensee for original art for Disney.
Acme sold and distributed each limited edition screen print (250x) on their website.
